Step 1: Find the center point of your home

Find the center point of the home by connecting the opposite corners of your floor plan. The intersection of the two lines is the center point of your home.

Step 2: Use a compass to identify the direction of your home

There are a few ways to find the direction of your home but I’m going to share with you the one that’s easier for you – use a compass app on your smartphone. Stand at the center point of your home and hold up your compass app to identify the direction.

Using your house plan, mark out all the 8 main sectors of the compass like the example shown below.

How to get your property facing for HIGH RISE Building

The main concept applied for high rise properties is the same as for landed properties. The only difference here is that the whole building of the high rise is seen as ONE giant house.
